Contacts



This tab is very useful if you intend to use the portal a lot. Here you can organize, add, remove, and update contact lists for click to dial and monitor if internal users are available or on the phone.


Any number that can be dialed, internal or external, can be clicked on here. A pop up window will appear asking you which phone (if you have multiples) you want the call to be connected to. When you click on Call, the system will first ring the phone you selected and then call out to the number you clicked on.


If the person you are looking at is an internal user, you can quickly see if they are available or on a call.

Green means they are available, red means that are busy. Simple as that!


To add a user to this list, just click on Add Contact and fill out the information



To add a contact as a favorite, just highlight the entry and click on the small star next to their name. Gold stars are favorites.



You can change which contacts you see by clicking on the Filters button.



If you want to use this page while looking at other things, you can click on the arrow just above Add Contact. This will open up a new window with the contacts information.


The contacts page will also be available on any page of the portal in the lower right.



Clicking on the arrow here will pop out the screen, and clicking on the bar will pull the contacts up on the right side of the page inside the current window you have.
