The Options Tab in NOVA allows you to make some changes to how the app interacts with your phone calls and voicemail messages. 

 

 

 

Here is what the main screen looks like.  

 

 

Answering rules brings up the way your phone will behave with incoming calls or when transfers are sent to your extension. This screen will show you the perimeters in the  answering rule but doesn’t allow you change it here. This is accessed through your NOVA portal login. 

 

 

Greetings allow you to change the greetings for your voicemail box.   

If you want to add a voicemail greeting, click on the plus button in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Enter the name of the greeting in the Greeting Name Field then press the large red button to record.  

 

 

The screen will allow you to hear the recording you just made so you can make adjustments as needed. There is a REDO button at the bottom of the screen to allow you to rerecord the greeting and when you are satisfied with the way the recording sounds, press SAVE to add it to the list of available voicemail messages. 

 

 

Now back out at the main screen for the Greetings section, you can see the greeting you just created.  

Press the arrow next to the name of the greeting to bring up options for that greeting. You can listen to the greeting to make sure it is the correct one, press SELECT to make it the greeting you wish to use or DELETE to get rid of the greeting if you no longer need it. Note the check mark next to the name of the greeting once you select it. This is a visual indicator that the greeting you selected is active and ready for use. 

 

 

The Settings Section in the Options Tab is where you can change how the app interacts with the phone it is installed on. The pictured screen is what is considered the standard configuration for  NOVA. You can change the setting here by selecting the switch to toggle them on and off, however, we recommend that you leave them alone. 

 

 

About section shows you the version number of NOVA mobile you are using. The Submit Log file is really only used to send log information the Vested Networks in the event you have an issue with the application. If you do have to send a log, press the arrow key to bring up the Submit log File window. Put your company name and date into the text field in the window and press SEND. 

 

 

And last but not least, if you just want to log out of the application altogether, press the LOG OUT button to shut down the app. It will bring up a warning message, you can read it and either select OK or Cancel.
